Efficient Cooling System-extending the life of the equipment and reducing maintenance costs. High light transmittance, shorten the molding time of the model The stable printing process greatly reduces the stratification risk of the model
【Brand&Manufacturer】Flashforge
【Efficient Cooling System】:Flashforge foto 8.9 adopts a high-efficiency heat dissipation system and an innovative air flow channel design, so that the heat generated during the printing process can be quickly dissipated, extending the life of the equipment and reducing maintenance costs.
【Faster print speed】Foto 8.9 equips with new uv light source and 4K industrial grade monochrome screen with an HD resolution of 3840 x 2400 , improves the light transmittance and greatly shorten the molding time of the model, the max print speed is 50mm/h, 3X faster than other resin 3d printers.
【High precision&Stability】Combine with dual z-axis linear rails, rod motor, and clearance nut which dramatically improves stability while in motion and reduces the layer shifting risk.
【Larger Printing Size】Flashforge Foto 8.9 has a large printing size of 192*120*200 mm/7.56*4.72*7.87 inch, and users can print multiple full-size models at the same time, greatly improving the production efficiency.

For the price of a 4K printer this fit my budget to add a 4th printer. the quantity that I print for resale products is failry low but the line of work I do they help out tremendously with rapid prototypes. A 4K printer wasnt really needed for me outside of the increased build plate space. The price and other reviews put it on my list quicker then I needed. Now right from the rip this printer was a pain! Going by a lot of the literature on Flashforge sight and the sister Voxelab I was trying to use their recommendations. I also used their method of leveling the bed, 2 slices of paper - touch - tighten screws - hit zero/home. Everytime I did this I noticed the stepper would stall when it touched the FEP. I read on Fbook about loosening the screws - touch 1 piece of paper - apply pressure - tighten screws - Do Not hit Home to set it. Ever since doing that its been perfect level.the other thing I did notice since I am in New England weather and it was colder was the resin thickness effected my first layer. If the resin was cold (ie Thick) it would stall the stepper at zeroing. I put a small space heater to warm the chamber up with the hood on, once the resin was warm and fluid it wouldnt do it. Not a printer issue and normal resin concern but wanted to mention it.After trying a lot of Flashforges recommendations on resin cure times I did the smart thing and printed some test prints. I was having problems with the initial layers sticking to the build plate. Not saying their settings wont work but highly recommend just doing your own exposure test prints to save a lot of work and hair pulling.Ive had the printer now for about 5 months I believe it is and no problems at all. Its def one I would buy again but probably wont. Nothing against it at all, I personally have no ties to Flashforge so Im not obligated to be brand loyal. If the price comes up good again or they have a great sale then I would take one.Big reccommendation would be to get a screen protector with purchase. I wish it came with one since I (by my own fault) put a small pin hole in my original FEP. Thankfully I caught it before destroying the screen but would have been nice having one on there. My fault for both but would be nice safety feature if it came with one. Im actually still printing using the same screen, I just get a small exposed cylindrical tower about 1.16 diameter that prints everytime. With the big size plate I orientate around it. If Amazon stocked the screens I would replace it but not being to worried about it I just havent ordered direct yet.Would I buy again? YesWorth the dollars? YesWorth it for heavy production printing? I dont feel so with out really having the patience to dial settings in and a perfect eviroment.A hobbiest worthy unit? For sure.Flashforge and Voxelab are well known names but for some reason no one knows that they make a resin printer. This gives you the build size of a Saturn for the price of a Mars 3. I do have an issue with the front build plate requiring a longer cure time so I will be contacting Flashforge to troubleshoot (and currently removing 1 star for that issue)So there are a few reasons I am giving two stars. This printer prints great, when it prints. There are two Foto 8.9 models you can get, each with a different board that requires a different file type to print. One prints in .SVGX and the other prints in .FDG make sure you are getting the printer that prints in FDG and not SVGX.First off the printer that uses .SVGX does not print with chitubox or with lychee. I was told they are not going to work with lychee so it will not be supported there. Now with chitubox you have to change script in the program file for it to be able to export in SVGX. Note, you have to do this, flashforge does not do this and their "fix" which is just a printer profile for the slicer does not fix the issue. The other part of this is when you go to print a large file off of the printer which is made to print large files, the printer freezes on the first layer and you have to cycle the printer off and back on to be able to do anything. To say I have been frustrated is an understatement considering the printer I have to compare it to is my Elegoo Mars 3 which is a workhorse that just prints with no issues. Save yourself the headache and go with Elegoo/anycibic/phrozen for a similar print size machine. I will update this review if Flashforge will actually try to help me fix the issue but from past dealings so far, that is unlikely.Es funcional, rapida, precisa, economica.
