Tips For Use- Turn the Trap On by pushing the M button once. The UV light and the fan will go on. Push the M button again and the UV light and fan turn off and the white night light feature goes on. The third push will turn the entire unit off.- For General Insect Control the UV light will attract various small flying insects. The fan is located below the UV light. Once a bug is close to the light, the suction from the fan pulls it inside and forces it to the bottom of the trap onto the sticky pad. There it will stick and cannot escape and will die.- For Fruit Flies our trap has a small cup shape in the middle of the grate above the fan. Here you can place a small piece of fruit to help entice the bugs. When they get close, the fan pulls them inside. Place the trap near the source of the infestation such as a fruit bowl, trash, or kitchen disposal. Ideally remove the cause of the infestation- For Mosquito Control the trap will work best in the room when you are not in it. They are attracted to the UV light in a dark room. However, they are more attracted to the scent of the human body. For bedrooms, it's best to put the trap in the darkened room a few hours before you are going to bed.
