I live in Florida and had an estimate of 2,000 dollars to put tint on 7 widows facing the setting sun. I wanted something to help block the sun and still be able to see through them. After watching the video they were very easy to install and we put up all blinds in less than an hour. They look really nice and cohesive on the outside of the house as well. The cord is made of plastic beads so rolling the blInds up and down a lot would be hard. Our blinds will be down at all times to help cut down on electric bills and to cut the glare of the sun. I measured the windows and ordered the exact width. It was a tight squeeze but they fit perfect. I also didn’t wait too long on shipping considering they come from China. Perfect for a budget and will be so easy to clean I the future.We ordered 5 of these shades and are so happy with them. They look perfect in our south facing hot in the summer windows. I wish we would’ve requested longer cords for the upper windows but it’s ok. Love how nice these people are too. Such a pleasure working with them. They made it so easy! Quick shipping too. It was 93° on our porch that day & it made a huge difference! Saving up to buy more for my boys rooms that are in the same side of the house!Good quality. I’d buy it again. Only one issue with the 4 I got, one of the pull chains was longer than the other 3. Oh well.I like how the blind cuts the heat of an Arkansas August day that normally comes through the picture window. There were NO INSTRUCTIONS. The plastic chain was not installed on the blind. I went back to Amazon and viewed some photos on the product page to see how the chain should be installed, but we just jury-rigged the chain installation. It's a kid free house, hopefully we adults can be careful operating the blind.I love these shades! They filter out the heat allowing me to keep them closed because I can still see out but you can't see in. My son in law installed them and did so quickly. They are well worth the money. You need to be patient in getting them because they come by a slow boat from China but it's worth it. It took about 6 weeks.The blind works as advertised. Does hold back heat to my surprise. Don't be in a hurry for this product though when you order it. It comes from over seas (which I didn't know) and it took a long time for me to receive it.I love the look of this shade - I got it to shield me from intense morning sunshine coming in my east facing 72" x 44" kitchen window. I got a very dark (blackish) shade - which still allows for some daylight. Unfortunately, the shade comes with NO installation manual and the reference YouTube video is "no longer available". The 72" width is NOT easy for one person to install alone. You will need a drill, tape measure, marking pen, and a Phillips screwdriver. I found it easiest to install the support mounts from the inside window side wall instead of hanging from the top frame. Took me about an hour to install. But it looks great and reduces the intense morning sun the way I wanted. Only gave it 4 stars because it's a bit of a pain to install.
