A floating focus mechanism ensures that consistently superior optical performance is achieved at all focusing distances. The Precision Design 130 Universal Macro LED Ring Light & Flash is compact, lightweight and ideal for close up photography. It features a 48 LED continuous light source with adjustable brightness. This flash will work with most camera lenses, with eight included adapters from 49mm to 77mm. The power control unit can be attached to your camera's hot shoe, or it can be mounted separately. A 2-inch LCD screen displays battery power, light output power and flash mode. Requires 4x AA batteries (not included). The Vidpro TT-22 Tripod with 3-Way Pan & Tilt Head offers top-notch durability and performance and provides a sturdy platform ideal for use in studio or on the go. Its versatile features allow rapid setup and take-down in any environment. The full 22" height folds easily to a travel-friendly, compact 12" length. This lens is everything everyone says it is. Tack sharp, durable build, great features and terrific bokeh. The auto focus hunts a little more than I'd like, even with the limiter switches on. But overall, it's still better than my zooms. The push to lock auto-manual focus ring is an awesome feature though. I wish more modern lenses had this. It has a great DoF and, as I said, the bokeh is creamy smooth with beautiful, round bokeh balls. When using as a portrait lens, you can find no better - great sharpness, color rendering and DoF. When using as a macro, it's a little on the dark side. If working close, like with insects, you will definitely need supplemental light, even in full sunlight. The build quality is superb and the lens feels substantial in your hand - like an old metal Nikon lens.Overall, if you need a razor sharp macro and portrait lens, this is the lens you're looking for!
